Non-Dairy Nog

Ingredients:

  • ½ large avocado, pitted and frozen*
  • 1 large banana, peeled and frozen
  • 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice (about ¼ of a fresh lemon)
  • 2-1/2 cups of almond milk
  • ¼ to ½ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 – 2 teaspoon ground nutmeg (to taste, add gradually)
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish (optional)
  • Rum extract (optional) to taste

Directions:

  1. Peel, Pit and Freeze avocado and banana
  2. Add liquid ingredients (almond milk, lemon juice, maple syrup and Rum extract (optional)
  3. Add in frozen chunks of avocado/banana and dry ingredients (nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves), blend until smooth
  4. Taste and adjust spices and liquids, if necessary. Adjust to your liking

Serve with cinnamon stick (optional) Serve immediate
