Butternut Squash Bake
Ingredients:
- 2 butternut squash cubed (small to medium)
- 8 small Granny Smith apples
- 1-1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
- ½ cup maple sugar or brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons arrowroot starch, (or flour)
- A splash of water or apple cider.
Directions:
Mix together in casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees F.
NOTE: This dish reheats well.
