Butternut Squash Bake

Ingredients:

  • 2 butternut squash cubed (small to medium)
  • 8 small Granny Smith apples
  • 1-1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • ½ cup maple sugar or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons arrowroot starch, (or flour)
  • A splash of water or apple cider.

Directions:

Mix together in casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees F.

NOTE: This dish reheats well.
