Buffalo Wing Hummus

Ingredients:

  • 15-oz can chickpeas
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoons barbecue sauce
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons Frank’s hot sauce
  • ¾ teaspoon paprika

Use as dip with veggies or oil-free crackers

Directions:

  1. Drain chickpeas, reserving the liquid
  2. Place garlic in food processor and whiz.
  3. Scrape sides and add chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, barbecue sauce, hot sauce, paprika, and 2 tablespoons of bean liquid.
  4. Whiz until smooth and creamy, adding a touch more bean liquid if needed
  5. Taste, adding more tahini or hot sauce, if desired. Chill
  6. Serve with crackers or veggies
