Nutritarian Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
- 1 – ½ cups cooked chick peas or 1 (15 oz.) can low sodium or no salt added chickpeas, drained
- ½ cup raw almonds
- ¾ cup dates (packed)
- 1 apple cored
- 1 teaspoon alcohol-free vanilla flavor
- ¼ cup water
- 2/3 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 2/3 cup 100% cacao chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Blend chickpeas, almonds, dates, apple, vanilla and water in a high-powered blender until smooth.
- Place in bowl and mix in oats and chocolate chips.
- Drop on a parchment-lined baking sheet in 2 tablespoon scoopfuls. Flatten a little with a fork. Bake for 10 minutes.
Makes 20 cookies
