Baked Tofu Bites
Ingredients:
- Block of Extra Firm Tofu
- 1:1:1 mixture (by volume) of Corn Starch, Garlic Powder, Poultry Seasoning
Instructions:
- Press the excess water out of the tofu using a tofu press. A typical block of tofu is ` 1-3/4” – 2” thick. When pressing is complete, the block will be ~ 1-1/4” thick.
- First cut the pressed block lengthwise.
- Then make ½” thick cuts across the width.
- Place the resulting pieces on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture on the pieces.
- Turn the coated pieces over and sprinkle the seasoning mixture on the other side.
- Place the cookie sheet in an oven preheated to 400 degree F and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and turn over each tofu piece.
- Return the cookie sheet from the oven and bake at 400 degree F for an additional 20 minutes.
